Super Block sign

Super Block is an urban plan project to in Barcelona that tries to reduce the traffic in the city and increase the green area for more human centric environment. However this project is my contribution to a signage development by a graphist for a new Superblock emerging in Example neighborhood. The project was part of his bachelor thesis. I was consulting and assisting him from urban planner point of view to develop his project further.

Pumped4Mutek

This project was the outcome of a workshop in IED Barcelona interaction course. In this workshop the tutor team help student to design and develop an augmented reality experience for the digital art festival, Mutek. This installation had a physical part at the SVD store where we design and install a vinyl for the window of the shop. On this design we embed a QR code that take the user to the digital experience.

PreciousPlastic

There is no doubt that plastic pollution is one of our main issues to save the environment. It would be ignorant not to absorb the magnetite of this situation caused by plastic production and consumption. As a maker and designer, I feel responsible. This project is my approach to address this issue on a local scale. Through this document, I will go through my studies to understand the plastic recycling process and its history.

For Raam

This is an ongoing hobby inspired by an Artist named KingRaam. He started a podcast at the beginning of the pandemic and I create these graphics inspired by his stories and music. PlanGo

PlanGo is a new way to interface with schedule planning. For many years we tend to plan our upcoming daily life to optimize our time and resources. This device tends to find the middle ground between 100% digital planning platform and paper base planning. Each of these has its advantage and disadvantages. For instance, Digital calendars are the best in synchronizing your time with colleges and across different devices. However, they are often complicated to work with it.

Spml5x

SPML is a project started in the future learning unit of Fablab Barcelona. It tends to make the CNC machine accessible for students and let them understand the functionality of cartesian base machines. Furthermore, it can help the students to fabricate small mold and PCB at home. The current project is a child version of the main project, which tries to add two extra axes to the machine and make five axes machine.

Q-City

Q-city is a new experience of park in a super-city. It is trying to reactivate park as a public space by adding layers of gamification to it. This physical game tied to a digital app, which provide citizens with extensive information about their activity. Moreover, it allow users to pair with each other for more public interaction inside this space. Along with this primary objective, the games designed to produce electricity as a byproduct as a source for the park.

CovidMap

COVID Map is Live map visualization which demonstrates peoples feeling about the coronavirus outbreak. It is watching public tweets and tries to understand if they are positive or negative. In this manner, it uses vectorizing each word base on its dictionary. One of my discoveries from this map is the countries that have access restrictions to this social media like China and Iran. Also, the limitation of this system is that it can just understand English.
